THE H2 VIDEO IS SHOWN AS A REFERENCE ONLY

Quiet or Loud At the Press of a Button

As noise regulations are becoming more strict worldwide, Vandemon has developed a unique bimodal muffler that allows you to choose between OEM quiet or straight-through unrestricted power at the push of a button. This full exhaust system is made from polished Ti1 Titanium and features a custom-made muffler with two separate chambers. This design is equivalent to having two exhaust systems in one, resulting in a standout sound that is both bespoke and unique.

How Does It Work? By using a Titanium butterfly valve placed in front of the muffler, the exhaust gas can be redirected through a conventional baffled section of the muffler, which helps to reduce noise levels to the manufacturer's specified levels. When the valve is open, the exhaust gas will flow through the straight-through, un-baffled section of the muffler, which offers less resistance and results in a louder exhaust note.

  • When tuning the Stealth exhaust, the technician will customize the tune to the valve open (loud mode). The quiet mode should only be used when driving in suburban and city areas and the engine is operated at lower speeds. The Stealth mode is restrictive to any power increase and will create excessive exhaust back pressure if the engine is raced above 6000 rpm.

The main goal of this exhaust system is to provide the rider with the ability to switch between a quiet mode that won't disturb the public and a louder, more powerful mode when riding on open roads. This allows the rider to remain unnoticed when necessary and enjoy a more thrilling experience when appropriate.

The OEM catalytic converter and heavy steel muffler & headers are eliminated, making for a much lighter exhaust system that is 50% lighter than the OEM Kawasaki exhaust due to the use of lightweight titanium that is polished to a high lustre and will retain its appearance without the need for polishing.

Important! This exhaust system makes the centre stand obsolete, so to accommodate this exhaust system.

Tuning
There is no compulsion to tune the engine to fit, but for optimal performance, we suggest Re-Mapping. Moreover, to facilitate this system, the power valve and catalytic converter are removed, so it is recommended that you check with your country's laws and regulations regarding the removal of these systems before selecting this product.

Our exhausts are professionally packaged to prevent damage in transit and arrive in a natural brushed finish that transforms to an iridescent blue, purple & gold colour beginning at the engine headers after only one heat cycle.

WHY BUY A TITANIUM EXHAUST?

Due to its strength, weight, and corrosion resistance, titanium is commonly used in demanding applications such as aircraft airframes, jet engine components, deep-sea vessels, and rocket motor cases. It is also used in motorsports like F1 and MotoGP.

OTHER ADVANTAGES OF TITANIUM:

Improved power to weight ratio, fast heat dissipation, never corrodes, distorts or oxidises, no polishing needed

IMPORTANT! Vandemon Exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different from what your OEM exhaust can already achieve. Check with your country's governing body regarding noise emission standards rules and regulations.
