V2 Stealth Titanium Slip-On Muffler

Upon close inspection, the Ducati V2 in the images may appear to be an ordinary motorcycle. However, Vandemon has taken the initiative to enhance this machine with a Stealth Bimodal Slip-On muffler made from lightweight titanium.

This replacement for the heavy and restrictive original muffler and catalytic converter is compact and lightweight. It boasts a titanium valve that allows the rider to alternate between Quiet Stealth mode and full power loud mode with a simple press of a button. This innovation allows the operator to avoid criticism and attention when needed and choose maximum performance and sound without guilt.

Installing the Stealth muffler on your Ducati is a straightforward process. Its design allows for easy attachment to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) headers and exhaust tip. The package also comes with a custom wiring harness complete with a patch plug so you can easily connect this harness to the Ducati wiring loom for the power supply without having to cut into the OEM wiring harness. The wiring harness provides the necessary power to operate the all-weather servo driver. The servo driver, in turn, operates the twin Push/Pull cables that control the exhaust valve. The exhaust valve can either block or release exhaust flow via the central muffler or bypass it altogether, which you activate by pressing the supplied handlebar-mounted switch.

Optimizing the performance of your vehicle is crucial, and tuning is compulsory and an essential step towards achieving it. We highly recommend seeking the services of a qualified technician who can perform this task using a dynamometer for the best results. During the tuning process, the technician should set the tune in loud mode. This will ensure that your Stealth muffler is accurately calibrated to deliver optimal results, regardless of the mode you choose to ride in.

Appearance:

The natural brushed finish changes to an iridescent blue and red when heated. Unlike stainless steel, Titanium won't stain, corrode or ever need polishing due to Titanium's high acid and salt resistance, which dissipates heat twice as fast as steel, further safeguarding against extended heat soaking into body panels when stationary.

For extra bling, if you don't have the Bayliss edition model, you can add our Carbon Fibre Exhaust Tip to give your ride an extra bit of exotica.

Manufacture:
We at Vandemon use a unique welding process that completely penetrates and makes for an ultrasonically perfect connection at all joints with a unique flush finish.

Why buy a titanium exhaust? Due to its strength, weight, and anti-corrosion quality, Titanium is found in the most demanding applications on Aircraft airframes, jet engine compressor blades and ducting, deep-sea saltwater vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket motor cases, and F1 and MotoGP.

Other advantages of Titanium:

  • Very light, Increased power-to-weight ratio.
  • Won't corrode or discolour
  • Never needs polishing like stainless steel & aluminium.
  • Dissipate heat twice as fast as Stainless Steel

IMPORTANT! Vandemon Exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different from what your OEM exhaust can already achieve. Check with your country's governing body regarding noise emission standards, rules, and regulations.
