Vandemon, the leader in exhaust development, has designed a unique slip-on muffler to replace the OEM muffler and catalytic converter. The design closely resembles our Stealth Bimodal Slip-on, but without the valve. This design came about when we noticed that the sound of the Stealth exhaust option created a better sound with the resonator rather than without. As a result, the V-twin's exhaust pulses are captured and released to enhance the base tone produced by the Supersports V2 twin engine, and it eliminates the undesirable higher frequencies for a distinctive sound.

The new design closely resembles the original exhaust, giving the impression that the motorcycle still has its original exhaust system and catalytic converter. However, in actuality, the catalytic converter has been swapped out for a lightweight titanium hollow resonator.

By choosing our Slip-On, the heavy, restrictive OEM mufflers and catalytic converter are eliminated, and a noticeable reduction in stored, radiated heat is achieved as Titanium doesn't retain heat for long and cools quickly.

The straight-through flow characteristic allows the tuner to increase torque and horsepower without any exhaust restrictions.

Ultrasonically perfect welds ensure top-notch weld quality, meeting Ducati owners' high expectations for this iconic motorcycle brand.

Vandemon Exhaust systems achieve peak performance and style while delivering exceptional sound. They utilize advanced manufacturing techniques and exotic materials, such as Titanium, resulting in a significantly lighter exhaust system with reduced heat retention compared to the OEM system.

The Side Mount design maintains the original appearance but eliminates the large and heavy catalytic converter and reduces lower fairing heat stress, improving rider comfort on hot summer days.

Appearance:

The surface finish is a natural brushed finish that changes to an iridescent blue and red when heated. Titanium has an advantage over stainless steel. It won't stain, corrode, or need polishing due to its high acid and salt resistance. Titanium also dissipates heat twice as fast as steel, protecting against extended heat transfer into body panels when stationary.

Manufacture:

We at Vandemon utilize a unique welding process that fully penetrates and creates an ultrasonically perfect connection at all joints with a unique flush finish.
